WELCOME TO STRICTLY STRINGS
Complete Guitar Repair and Restoration
Gregg Hall, founder of Strictly Strings, began working on guitars in 1982 and hasn’t stopped. He opened his first guitar repair shop in 1985 in his garage in Greenfield, Indiana and with 37 years of experience, he has gained a wealth of knowledge; knowledge he has put to use for hundreds of satisfied clients including:
Kenny Wayne Shepheard
Tonino Baliardo of the Gipsy Kings
Greg Martin of The Kentucky Headhunters
Aerosmith, and a host of others
Gregg is an accomplished player who has performed on stage, studio and TV. He cut his teeth in the instrument world while barely a teenager, working part-time at a local music store that was geared toward pro and semi-pro players. He understands what players are looking for and yet does not take a “one size fits all” approach. He listens to his clients and works closely with them to accommodate their personal preferences.
Gregg’s shop was one of the first in the nation to be invited to the Martin National Symposium. He is a full restoration grade luthier with a historical knowledge specializing in Martin and Gibson acoustic guitars. In addition to acoustic guitars, Gregg also has a broad knowledge of and real passion for electric instruments and is a factory warranty authorized repairman for Gibson, Fender, Taylor and many other leading brands.
Services include relic restoration, refinishes, custom paint, neck resets, broken headstock repairs, “aged” touch-ups to match vintage guitar finishes, pickup installation, fret replacement and set-ups.
Gregg Hall has been a luthier for 35 years. His commitment to excellence is second to none.
You will get the quality service you need. Every time.
